This video is just gut wrenching. It’s hard to watch, graphic and you must ask yourself what sort of society are we part of? Why have we all become so complacent? Why does this continue? Why has our governance become so weak and evil? This makes me sad for society. In a world where inter-depedence should lead to growth and freedoms we have a government designing for co-dependent repressive relationships that is thwarting real progress and opportunity. This post from the Guardian just helps to cement in my mind that the Guardian may be the leading paper and voice in the world today. With the NSA reports their editorial and commentary seems to be increasingly inspired. Does anyone else have the sense that there editorial team is “fired up”? These stories seem to argue for better futures something too many news organizations have forgotten.
